WHY PREMILLENNIALISM IS WRONG?
By Jorge L Trujillo

(Four Reasons that should be enough to reject the doctrine called Premillenialism)

"Four Biblical Reasons"

  • 1.   Premillennialism teaches that Christ will get up from His throne and leave Heaven TWICE (some say three times) before the end of times.

But the Bible says that he is NOT getting up from that throne in heaven until the END!But the Bible says that he is NOT getting up from that throne in heaven until the END!

  • 2.   Premillennialism teaches that there are THREE JUDGEMENT DAYS (two for post-tribbers).

But the Bible says there is ONLY ONE!

  •   3.    Premillennialism teaches that there are "THREE DAYS OF RESURRECTION" (two for Post-tribulationists).

But the Bible says there is ONLY ONE!But the Bible says there is ONLY ONE!

  • 4.   Premillennialism teaches that believers and unbelievers will resurrect and be judged "IN DIFFERENT DAYS".

But the Bible clearly states that BELIEVERS and UNBELIEVERS will be resurrected and JUDGED on
      the SAME DAY!

If we believe that the Bible is the Word of God then we can find out for sure whether a doctrine or teaching is true or false.   Any doctrine that does not STAND the test  of Scripture is to be discarded as False.  Here we present four reasons why premillennial doctrine is WRONG and four Biblical reasons why AMILLENNIALISM STANDS!!.  This is clear and to the point and is just the beginning.

1.   Premillennialism teaches that Christ will get up from His throne in Heaven TWICE before the end of
      times.

    1. At the rapture of the church (At the beginning (before) of the tribulation)
    2. At his second coming (At the end of (after) the tribulation)

But the Bible says that he is NOT getting up from that throne in heaven...

    1. Until all his enemies have been put under his feet.
    2. Acts 2:33-35

Therefore being exalted to the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, He poured out this which you now see and hear. For David did not ascend into the heavens, but he says himself: "The Lord said to my Lord, SIT AT MY RIGHT HAND, TILL I MAKE YOUR ENEMIES YOUR FOOTSTOOL"

      I Corinthians 15:25

For He must reign until He has put all enemies under His feet.

    3. Until the time to restore all things.

      Acts 3:20-21

And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:
Whom THE HEAVEN MUST RECEIVE UNTIL THE TIMES OF RESTITUTION OF ALL THINGS, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.

      Rev. 21:5

And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I MAKE ALL THINGS NEW. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

    4. Until the day he returns to judge the quick and the dead.

Romans 2:16

In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.

2.   Premillennialism teaches that there are THREE JUDGEMENT DAYS (two for post-tribbers).

  1. The judgement seat of Christ (BEMA) in Heaven for the Church
  2. The judgement of the nations (Mathew 25:31) at the beginning of the millennium and
  3. The GWT judgement at the end of it.

But the Bible says there is ONLY ONE!

Let us look at some verses...

Acts 17:30 (KJV)

In the past God overlooked such ignorance, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent. 31 For he has set "A DAY" when he will judge the world with justice BY THE MAN [JESUS] he has appointed. He has given proof of this to all men by raising him from the dead."

Romans 2:15-17  (KJV)

15 Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;) 16 In "THE DAY" WHEN GOD SHALL JUDGE THE SECRETS OF MEN BY JESUS CHRIST according to my gospel. 17 Behold, thou art called a Jew, and restest in the law, and makest thy boast of God

Is clear that God has set "ONE" day to judge people, not two nor three. Therefore when Christ was speaking about the judgement on Mathew 25:31, he had to have been referring to the ONE and ONLY day of Judgement which has been appointed, where he as the man (Acts 17:31) JesusChrist (Romans 2:16) will judge the nations [ethnos=peoples].

Matthew 25

31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: 32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: 33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. 34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world… "Then he will say to those on his left, `Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. … 46 "Then they will go away to ETERNAL PUNISHMENT but the righteous to ETERNAL LIFE."

Pre-millennialists try to make a big (non-existing) difference between this judgement of the nations and the judgement of the Great White Throne, but that again, is impossible, since it is clear that Jesus is speaking about "PEOPLE" that are being judged for what they had done, the same as in Rev. 20:11 where the books are opened. It is not the land of the United States or the land of China the ones who are sent to the eternal punishment, these are people with leaving souls, everyone since day one.

3.    Premillennialism teaches that there are "THREE DAYS OF RESURRECTION" (Two for Post-tribbers).

  1. The Church at the beginning of the tribulation,
  2. The OT/Tribulation saints at the beginning of the millennium and
  3. The Unjust at the end of the Millennium.

But the Bible says there is ONLY ONE!

4.   Premillennialism teaches that believers and unbelievers will resurrect "IN DIFFERENT DAYS".

  1. Believers of the Church: The day of the rapture (7 years before the end)
  2. Believers (Saints) of the Tribulation: At the beginning of the Millennium (7 years later)
  3. Unbelievers: At the end of the Millennium

But the Bible clearly states that BELIEVERS and UNBELIEVERS WILL BE RESURRECTED and JUDGED on the SAME DAY!

John 6

38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me. 39 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, BUT SHOULD RAISE UP AGAIN AT THE LAST DAY. 40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I WILL RAISE HIM UP IN THE LAST DAY…. 44 "No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him, and I WILL RAISE HIM UP IN THE LAST DAY.

The NT clearly states that unbelievers will resurrect physically on the LAST DAY to be judged!

John 12:48

He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, THE SAME SHALL JUDGE HIM IN THE LAST DAY.

  • JUDGEMENT OF THE RIGHTEOUS

This day of judgement for the quick and the dead is linked to the righteous receiving their reward at the appearing of Jesus.

2 Timothy 4 -8

1 I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, WHO WILL JUDGE THE QUICK AND THE DEAD AT HIS APPEARING AND HIS KINGDOM 2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine. 7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: 8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, SHALL GIVE ME AT THAT DAY: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

Here, the apostle Paul links the day of the "Appearing of the Lord" with the "Day of Judgement" as being ONE AND THE SAME DAY. Then he says in verse eight that he and all those who love his appearing will receive a crown on "THAT DAY" . Totally consistent with the words of Jesus in Mathew 25:32.

  • JUDGEMENT OF THE UNRIGHTEOUS

Now, if you look at the following verse by apostle Peter, then you will see that he uses the same terminology to refer to the unrighteous ones…

1 Peter 4

3 For the time past of our life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries: 4 Wherein they think it strange that ye run not with them to the same excess of riot, speaking evil of you: 5
Who shall give account to him that is ready TO JUDGE THE QUICK AND THE DEAD.

JUDGEMENT DAY IS ON THE LAST DAY, the same day of the Second Coming and the same day the just will be resurrected. It is clear that this judgement of the world by Christ will happen at His Second Coming. How can he judge anyone to eternal condemnation who has not being physically resurrected to receive such Judgement?

  • JUDGEMENT DAY WILL TAKE PLACE ON THE SAME DAY CHRIST COMES BACK!!

Here are more verses…

Matthew 12

41 The men of Nineveh
(Gentiles) SHALL RISE IN JUDGEMENT WITH THIS GENERATION (Jews), and shall condemn it: because they repented at the preaching of Jonas; and, behold, a greater than Jonas is here. 42 The queen of the south (Gentile) SHALL RISE IN JUDGEMENT WITH THIS GENERATION (Jews), and shall condemn it: for she came from the uttermost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, a greater than Solomon is here.
The men of Nineveh and the queen of the south are the righteous. This generation is the unrighteous, and they will both RISE in JUDGEMENT along with the other.  Finally, Jesus himself said that those are in the graves, both the good and the bad, shall hear His Voice!.

John 5

26 For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself; 27 And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man. 28 Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves SHALL HEAR HIS VOICE, 29 And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

1 Thessalonians 4 / Mathew 24:31

16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first

Romans 2 (KJV)

1 Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things. 2 But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against them which commit such things. 3 And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God? 4 Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance? 5 But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God; 6 Who will render to every man according to his deeds: 7 To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life: 8 But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath, 9 Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile; 10 But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile: 11 For there is no respect of persons with God. 12 For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law; 13 (For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified. 14 For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves: 15 Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;) 16 In "THE DAY"  when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.

QUESTIONS:

  1. If everyone will be resurrected and judged on the same day Christ comes back; on the ONLY DAY appointed in history by GOD in the Bible for such judgment to take place, then how can some place yet another bodily resurrection and judgment 1,000 Years after?
  2.

    Revelation 20:5

4b and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. 5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished.

  3. How come Jesus said that ALL (good and bad) will be raised together and judged on the same last day, at the last (7th) trumpet [Rev. 11:18]…

Revelation 11

18 And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.

…and then in Rev. 20:5 he says that "ONLY THE RIGHTEOUS" are raised in the "First Resurrection" separated from the others by 1000 years?

ANSWERS:

Since the Bible DOES NOT contradict itself…

Then he must have been speaking about two different resurrections and clearly the one mentioned in Rev. 20:5 IS ONLY FOR THOSE WHO WILL REIGN WITH HIM!! so this is the resurrection that he spoke about in:

John 5:24-25

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

and...

Ephesians 2:4-7

4 But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, 5 made us alive (RESURRECTED) with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions--it is by grace you have been saved. 6 And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, 7 in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus.

These are four "STRONG" Biblical reasons why Premillennialism is wrong and four "STRONG" biblical reasons why AMILLENNIALISM STANDS!!

Peace!
